PDF download problems

If access is available but the pdf doesn't download properly please try the following:

  1. You should be able to right-click on the download link and select the option to “save link as”.Screenshot of a webpage offering book download options, with a context menu open showing "Save link as..." highlighted
  2. This should bring up a Save As dialogue box/window where you can then download the pdf to a file saved locally on your computer.Save As dialog box with the file name '978-3-031-06031-1' set to be saved as an Adobe Acrobat Document

  3. Go to where you saved the pdf and open normally.

Please note: While SpringerLink has been optimised to work well on most internet connections; due to the large file sizes involved you may still experience a delay downloading a large pdf, particularly if you have a slower internet connection. This would be particularly noticeable when downloading a full book as some of these pdf files are quite large (more than 10 Mb).
