IP Authentication

For institutions that have a dedicated set of IP ranges, IP access is the most common and simplest method of authenticating access to SpringerLink content. Any person browsing SpringerLink website whose IP is detected as being within one of those ranges will be recognised as belonging to that institution and will see subscribed content as unlocked.

Our systems are currently unable to support the IPv6 IP format. If you wish, you may contact your Licensing Manager to raise your interest in IPv6 access.

To get IP access set up, please contact Institutional Support with your Customer ID and IP addresses.
